Shahrukh Khan’s First Look In New Animated Movie, ‘Atharva - The Origin,’

One of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films for this year. After a huge success with “Happy New Year,” he is making even bigger commitments, which involve him being portrayed as a completely different character.
Khan will soon be seen as an avatar like we’ve never seen him before. He will be seen in an animated avatar in a graphic novel titled “Atharva - The Origin.” The first look of the film was recently revealed, which shows SRK with ripped muscles and armor as he stands on rocky mountains.
The animated film is an imitation of Ramesh Tamilmani’s novel with the same title. The project is created by Vel Mohan and illustrations by Ramesh Acharya.
In the mean time, Khan is in talks with Rohit Shetty to create something bigger and better after “Chennai Express.” The director confirmed that he has only signed Khan for his new film so far and is excited to continue with casting.
During an interview with a magazine, Khan said that the film will be one of the best movies he has ever worked on, especially because it is with Shetty. The actor and director expect the movie to be bigger and better than Farah Khan’s film adding that Shetty has his own style of filmmaking and the untitled film will be on similar lines.
Previous reports stated that Arjun Kapoor has been roped in for the film with SRK, however, nothing has been confirmed.
There have also been rumors that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will star in the film as well after her comeback film, “Jazbaa.” The former Miss World was apparently approached for the role and hinted as if she was doing the film stating, “It will be prudent for me to make any announcements without the team.”
Rai apparently has given her nod for the project, but nothing has been confirmed and they have yet to confirm a female lead.
Khan allegedly might be seen reprising an 80s look in the film and while reports suggest that Varun Dhawan might also be roped in to play one of the younger siblings of Khan, they have yet to make a final decision.
