How Shah Rukh Khan Gets to Work on the Sets of Dilwale

Shah Rukh Khan

In a tweet posted late Tuesday night, actor Shah Rukh Khan claims he rides to the sets ofDilwale in Hyderabad on a 'new set of wheels' everyday. Director Rohit Shetty apparently provides him with a different bike daily - he's already ridden a Hawk, a BMW and a Harley Davidson.

We say 'claims' because SRK might well be pulling a fast one, as he does, and the bikes are likely being used in Dilwale's action scenes.

It would appear that, while the number of wheels have remained unchanged, SRK has steadily graduated from using an IO Hawk, which is a personal mobility device.

And now, the bikes. Shah Rukh's set of wheels are getting swankier by the day.

Dilwale also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Vinod Khanna and Boman Iran and is slated to release on December 18 this year.

After Dilwale, Shah Rukh has Maneesh Sharma's Fan and Rahul Dholakia's Raees to look forward to

Shah Rukh Khan visits Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' sets

Shah Rukh Khan on sets of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' with Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar

Shah Rukh Khan, who shares an extremely close bond with the director-producer, shared on Twitter picture with him and Ranbir from the sets. The 49-year-old 'Chennai Express' star said his kids also enjoyed the film's shoot. "Was a treat to watch Ranbir & Karan make their dream come alive. The kids loved it too. Thanks 'Ae Dil...' team, have a good one," he tweeted. Karan, 43, began his career as a director with with Shah Rukh-Kajol's blockbuster 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and worked with the actor on films like 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' and 'My Name Is Khan'. The filmmaker thanked Shah Rukh for visiting him in London. "Thank you so so much for coming Bhai!!" Karan posted. Shah Rukh also wished him luck last month, when the filmmaker left for London to begin the shooting. 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', also starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, marks Karan's return to direction after 2012 hit 'Student of the Year". The film dwells on relationships and heartbreaks. It will be the first time that Aishwarya, 41, will share screen space with Ranbir, 32, and Anushka, 27.

Shah Rukh Khan Promised 'Best Koffee' if he Visits KJo in London

Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood power players Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar are intent on restoring their newly-renewed dostana to K3G-level and, when they're separated by half a world, there's always Twitter.

Pleasantries were exchanged late Wednesday night, with SRK demanding coffee on a possible weekend visit and KJo promising him 'the best Koffee,' a reminder perhaps that SRK skipped the previous season of the filmmaker's chat show.

SRK, who is currently in Hyderabad filming Dilwale, would have to fly long-haul to visit Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil unit in London - but hey, what's an international flight and the price of a ticket when you are a Super Khan?

Last Saturday, SRK appeared to take a gentle dig at KJo, reminding the Bombay Velvet actor that his place in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was behind the camera, not in front of it.

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar last collaborated on 2010's My Name is Khan and will soon begin work on director Gauri Shinde's second film. SRK will star, with Alia Bhatt, and also produce as will Dharma boss KJo. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, one of the most awaited movies of next year, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Shah Rukh Khan, Varun DhaShah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Boman Irani, Rohit Shetty & Farah Khan on sets of Dilwalewan, Boman Irani, Rohit Shetty & Farah Khan on sets of Dilwale

Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kajol, Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani and Varun Sharma are currently busy shooting for the last leg of their forthcoming film 'Dilwale' in Hyderabad. And while the team is shooting day and night to wrap up the film in time for the release, they are also making sure to spend some time goofing around on the set.

Farah Khan, who is on the sets of Dilwale, for a song shoot, posted about the same on her twitter. Incidentally, Farah, Shah Rukh and Boman Irani, who shot together for 'Happy New Year', seem to be enjoying each other's company yet again.

Like they did during the shoot of HNY, SRK and Boman are busy playing their PS games on the sets of Dilwale too, whereas Farah is as usual annoyed with the duo.

She got on to twitter and posted, "Back in Hyderabad after a day at home, with #Dilwale Team! @iamsrk n @iamsrk @bomanirani  now pls stop the PS games!!."

Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, 'Dilwale' releases on December 18, 2015.

How Shah Rukh Khan and Mahesh Babu Made it a Super-Starry Saturday

Dilwale

Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently filming for Dilwale in Hyderabad, paid a visit to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu on Saturday, on the sets of his upcoming family dramaBrahmotsavam. And "The entire cast and crew were thrilled," said the Srimanthudu star. 'Humbled' by SRK's gesture, he shared images from the meeting on social media

The Businessman star is married to Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar, who can be seen sharing a laugh with SRK in the pictures. Their 3-year-old daughter Sitara was there too, perched on her mother's lap.

SRK, who was in casuals, sported a comic strip printed bandana along with his blue sunglasses, which have featured in most of his Dilwale snapshots.

The Dilwala recently made a date with world's top-ranked female badminton champ Saina Nehwal with the venue being Hyderabad again. He picked a rather funny caption on Instagram to share pictures of the two of them posing with their racquets.

Here's what Shah Rukh Khan been hiding from his kids all these years

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan made viewers teary-eyed with the climax of his hit 2003 film Kal Ho Naa Ho, but the actor says his children saw a version where the movie ends before his character dies. Shah Rukh, 49, played Aman Mathur, a terminally ill patient in the Nikhil Advani-directed romantic drama.

When a fan tweeted Shah Rukh a little girl's reaction after watching Kal Ho Naa Ho, the Chennai Express star said Karan Johar, who produced and wrote the film, made a special edit of the movie for his children. In the video, the girl is seen breaking into tears after watching the emotional climax of the movie, which ends with his characters death.

After American actor-producer-martial artist Wesley Snipes expressed his desire to work with Bollywood 'badshah' Shah Rukh Khan, the Hindi film superstar has reached out to the Hollywood star by asking him to “say the time and place" and he "will be there to share the screen space”.
In an interaction with an Indian publication, Snipes, who is popular for his role of vampire hunter superhero, Blade, had talked about his love for Bollywood films and his wish to share screen space with Shah Rukh, who has dominated the Hindi silver screen for over two decades.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan reteaming with old directors

The last quarter of 2015 will see a host of tried and tested director-actor pairs coming up with their films. Thus, while Sooraj Barjayta is teaming up with Salman Khan in Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo after three successful ventures, Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty are getting together after they tasted their first commercial success together in Chennai Express. Talking about why a hit actor-director pair usually works, trade analyst Atul Mohan points out, “Both parties involved share a comfort level with each other and are aware of their strengths and weaknesses as a team. This adds to the appeal of the finished product.” Here’s a look at the much-anticipated films that these hit teams are making.

Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, although a multi-starrer, is being touted as a Shah Rukh Khan film. The last time the two paired up together was in Chennai Express (2013). Shetty and SRK teaming up again is good enough reason for the audience to watch the film, say experts. Plus Kajol and SRK will be seen together in this one, and that is an added bonus. Talking about working together, Shetty had recently said, “Shah Rukh is my biggest strength. If he wasn’t the producer, I don’t know if I would have been able to helm such a big film.”
Sooraj Barjatya is credited for giving Salman Khan his big debut film, Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989). They kept up the hit streak with Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994) and then Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999). Now, 16 years later, the two have come together in Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, that also stars Sonam Kapoor. The audience will look forward to the magic that the duo are known to create in their films. “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will bring back my sincerity and innocence. It is a family film. Get ready to cry,” Salman had earlier said.

Their film Rockstar (2011) wasn’t a blockbuster, but that hasn’t stopped actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Imtiaz Ali from collaborating again. The outcome is their latest offering, Tamasha. Imtiaz has also roped in Ranbir’s ex-flame Deepika Padukone in the film. The ex-couple have been a hit in several films, including their last cinematic outing together, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013). About working with Ali, Ranbir said recently, “Imtiaz makes you unlearn what you already know. He challenges you as an actor.”
Akshay Kumar is known to be a fan of south remakes and filmmaker Prabhudheva aces them. Their last film together, Rowdy Rathore (2012) fared well at the box-office. And experts feel that the chemistry will translate on-screen this time, too, as they get together for a full-blown comedy and family entertainer in Singh is Bling. Prabhu’s last directorial outing, Action Jackson (2014), with Ajay Devgn failed to do well at the box office, but that will not stop the audience from turning up for this film, feel experts.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last outing, Ram-Leela (2013), with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone garnered a lot of critical acclaim. Now the filmmaker is repeating the hit cast in his next film, Bajirao Mastani. Talking about why he was cast again, Singh said, “Mr Bhansali has a lot of faith in my abilities and talent. He believed that I could do justice to his larger-than-life canvas, and gave me a big chance.”

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s Welcome that released in 2007 had actor Anil Kapoor essaying one of the lead characters. The film was a commercial success, and now Anees is back with the sequel to the film — Welcome Back, seven years later. Anil plays the same character in the sequel, and says that his on-screen avatar has undergone the least changes in the second film. Anil and Anees’ hit partnership goes back to No Entry (2005).
