That Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan are best buddies is known to all! But apart from sharing an amazing rapport, the duo have also tasted success together professionally. Till date SRK has done three films with the ace choreographer-turned-filmmaker – Om Shanti Om, Main Hoon Na and Happy New Year – and all of them got cash registers jingling. In fact, their last outing HNY turned out to be one of the highest grossing films of 2014. So we weren’t surprised when Farah not too long ago expressed her desire to team up with Shah Rukh once again, after all, they do have a great track record. While Shirish Kunder’s wifey recently confessed that her next film will indeed star Gauri Khan’s hubby, it seems Shah Rukh hasn’t really given his nod for Farah’s next
We say so because while talking to a leading daily, AbRam’s daddy dearest sounded unsure about collaborating with his Happy New Year director in the near future, “I don’t know if Farah is ready with her next film yet. When you’re working together, there are ideas floating around and we do brainstorm, but I guess that happens with every director-actor when their film is in the making. There is no confirmation on our next film yet.”
The superstar further added, “We don’t really have a three-film contract with each other.” Now we know SRK is one actor who loves being cheeky but we wonder if the talented actor was trying to convey something with his last remark. Maybe he is hinting that he has decided to take break from Farah Khan and work with other filmmakers, who knows!
